The Patient Navigator, Outreach & Chronic Disease Prevention Act of 2005 signed by President Bush on June 29, 2005 will provide patients with an advocate at their side to help them navigate today's complicated health care system. The passage of this bill and funding recognizes the urgent need for qualified healthcare professionals to co-ordinate health care services, provider referrals, public and private healthcare programs, etc. within the community. Patient Advocate Group was formed to assist patients to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and to resolve private and public insurance issues for Seniors, Families, Employers, Doctor's offices, etc. We don’t represent insurance companies but, we have had insurance companies refer patients to us.
